Frequently Asked Questions
Can anyone take a session at your Studio? They sure can, age 13 and up will be at full price $35.00, kids age 12 and under will be at a reduced price of $25.00 for canvas and most glass art sessions. Glass Block Lights are $40.00. Complimentary beverages and complimentary snacks are included with all in-studio registrations, but you must be at least 21 and provide a valid state photo ID to be served alcoholic beverages.
How do I register for a session? Just go to the Monthly Schedules tabs choose which months schedule of events you’re interested in, browse the calendar, click on the event name and you’re on your way to a fun night out!
Can I bring food into your Studio? Yes you can, we also offer complimentary snacks.
Are outside beverages allowed into your Studio? Sure, any non-alcoholic beverages can be brought into our Studio, we also offer complimentary beverages including wine, beer, soda, ice tea, coffee, tea, juice and water ~ absolutely no alcoholic beverages can be brought into our Studio ~ no exceptions.
Is your Studio location easily accessible? It is, there is easy access to Route 37, Route 95 and Route 295. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of and on the side of our building. We are also a handicap accessible facility.
Does your Studio do mobile sessions? Yes we do. We require a 15 guest minimum for our mobile service. We do not supply tables, chairs or floor/table protection. Rate is dependent on location and total guests.
What is the time frame for each session? Our public sessions last 2-1/4 hours and kids sessions last 1-1/4 hour. At the completion of the session, you will be able take your custom work home with you!
What if my work is still wet? No problem! We have hair dryers in the Studio to assist in the drying process.
Do I need painting experience? Absolutely not, our artists will guide and assist you through the entire process. We’ve had many first timers join our sessions and they all had a great time! If you can follow instructions, you will be able to paint the subject of the evening.
Can I come alone? Absolutely, there are always others around you working too! So you can make some new friends!
Can your Studio honor custom work requests? Yes, we will work with you to create a work customized for your event, please allow us a minimum of two weeks notice ~ minimum guest requirement of 12 applies for all custom work requests.
Does your Studio only paint on canvas? No, in addition to canvas, we have sessions to paint on various glassware items ~ including several types of wine glasses, plates, mugs, jars and much more!
When should I arrive? We kindly request that you arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before the start of your session ~ this will give you enough time to find a seat and be ready to go when we begin. All sessions begin promptly at the time listed on our schedule of events on our website. Please don’t be late.
Does your Studio provide aprons to protect clothing? Sure do, our aprons will protect most of your clothing, but our paints are acrylic based and do not wash out of clothing easily.
Does your Studio have a Cancellation Policy? Yes we do. Registrations are not refundable. If you need to cancel, please contact us via email email@example.com ~ we kindly request 72 hours advance notice prior to your scheduled session, we will grant you 100% credit and you will be able to reschedule your registration. No shows will not be able to reschedule, credit will not be granted to no shows.
Does your Studio have a Weather/Closing Policy? Yes our policy is, if weather conditions for any session may be considered hazardous, the session will be cancelled and rescheduled by Paint the Town. All registrants will be notified via email 4 hours prior to the start time of the session if any session has been cancelled due to poor (current and/or predicted) weather conditions. We will post all cancellations on our Facebook page and our website. 100% credit for future registrations will be granted. If you are unsure if the scheduled session will commence, please contact us by phone or email, we will be happy to assist you!
Is there anything else I need to know? Just one more thing, our Studio has a concierge service so you can just sit back, relax, have fun and enjoy the experience, we’ll take care of the rest for you! This is always a judgment free and stress free zone!
